I got this picture from a friend who got it from a friend and the friend said she got it from a friend...lol. Still it is a very beautiful picture. Since I crossed over to the north to stay for a while, the Fulani women always leaves lasting impressions in my mind. They are beautiful, colourful and kind of hard working. They might not be the most organised women because they move from place to place. Trust me whenever they are ready to look organised they produce such colourful combination.
Hard working??? Yes!!. Here in the north "" fura da nunu" is best prepared by them. Sounds strange right?. Don't bother much it is simply natural cow milk sometimes garnished with banana and other enticing things. It is one of the best refreshment here desired by both the rich and the poor.
A Fulani woman can also keep you in awe with her long, black African hair. Her hairdo is also worth noticing.
I could go on and on, their dance steps that which I have seen for my self could keep you standing all day. They make such  marvellous sound with their tongues during singing and dancing...so wonderful that It made me to try out my own version but I almost lost my tongue...lol. Still working on it "sha".
They are just awesome in their own way and when people say black is beauty I comprehend.

EDO...... powerful monarch, wonderful traditional attire. The Benin people have had popularity for many generations past. Her total respect for her kings have made Benin very famous.
I once heard that the king was sued to court and was walking on the road to attend his case but women of The Benin kingdom were wailing and spreading wrappers on the road for him to step on. Imagine how high they hold their kings.
The most enchanting part to me about the Benin is their traditional attire especially for the woman. They adorn women with priceless African traditional beads. Red beads and the sight is so breath taking. I have not been fortunate enough to see a woman from a royal lineage. They are said to wear the most priceless of all this traditionally enchanting jewel.
It is not surprising why the white men in the past saw the Benin people to be very fascinating.

It is very funny and surprising when people ask why a soup will be made from palm nut .Trust me until you savour it's sweetness it is mere palm fruit.Deltans are well known for their extra ability to prepare this special meal.  
Preparation is quite simple and straightforward. Some persons might decide to eat it with 'Eba' or starch anyone works fine. Just in case you find yourself in the south particularly Delta. Try out this meal it's mind blowing especially the fresh fish garnished one .

So unfortunate I can't speak my language but I sure know how to dress very well in my native attire.
Please do not let your kids lose touch of their root Nigeria is all we have got.

Some call them timid ,some say they are oppressed and do not lift a hand to resist.This might be an hasty conclusion.I personally might not be able to discharge your claims.But here is what i know she is Northern ,a woman daring to be strong in the midst of an unfriendly society.She covers her body and guides it .she ventures to know about education along side husband and children tarrying behind her.She might not be what the world wants her to be .She might be different from what we use to know , but she is beautiful in her diverse way .She is more than we see.EXPLORE!!!!!!!

There is true beauty in the Southern Nigeria .It is almost impossible to tell which  part of Nigeria has more beauties but I feel the SOUTHERN Nigerian woman has beauty worthy of acknowledgement .
