Good morning
I have never really been a fan of art until I saw these paintings. These beautiful works was done by Joseph Eze. The perfect blend of image, letters and culture makes him outstanding. He proudly showcase the African woman particularly the Nigerian woman in her simplest form yet beautiful.
An African need not make so much effort to look beautiful and attractive. His emphasis on the natural look in my mind is a compelling motivation to African women to embrace their unique dark, wool like and healthy hair. The use of Nigerian fabrics by the women in his art works further portray the beauties in Nigeria as against the porpular notion if the world. She might be a size zero, she might be so curvy and might not be the best model for Victoria secrets..she is perfect in her diversity.

Many guys often have problem with a very key requirement needed to marry an urhobo or isoko girl from Delta state southern Nigeria. Traditional a man mist dress on complete traditional attire of the urhobo or Isoko bride whether or not he is urhobo. It is a great sign of respect to his in laws. I remember attending a wedding and the groom was battling seriously with the traditional bead around his neck. It is awesome when a woman you love sees that you bend backwards to see that you make her your wife. Not so much of a problem to me. It is an amazing custom.

Amina is celebrated across the Hausaland as a great warrior queen who was born to rule, and led thousands of soldiers to war.  Amongst women she was highly respected a woman who had the strength of a man. She led diligently and others followed. I don't know where this issue of weaker sex is breeding. You can not use this slow down unconfirmed adage to make not achieve what you ought to. One person just need sto start it oppositions is bound but one must strive one. Great, wise, woman had ruled alongside their husbands and also alone with the support of their people. Do not be deterred. We might do all the facial and body treatment but just do something amazing that your generation will be proud of and that does not include men extortion
.it doesn't make sense when you have to wait for a many supply all your needs go after that which makes you fulfilled don't watts life let us learn from queen am in a

Do something
funky with Nigeria prints sometimes you don't need to spend all your monies on foreign clothing. Try something creative, stylish but very Nigerian.

I used to watch a fashion show called extreme makeover where a woman is changed from clumsy look by a team of experts to a beautiful princess. This is really extreme. I most agree for once I see the need of make up. This is not falsehood  it is creativity. She looks stunning and very beautiful.
The only notion I had of an hausa man before I came to the north was that they are good at selling yams, cows and other agricultural products but that is not them in entirety. Fashion in the most creative sense exist here. The unimaginable creativity on clothing with leave you in awe. Embroidery here is the most fabulous I have seen. I intend to have some nice ones before leaving the north. Men who are on the rich side are most worthy to behold in the sense that they wear neat and white traditional wears with nice body perfume to Match the well arranged outfit. There are more beautiful things than boko haram here. For real I am serious.

It is no more awkward that a person cries when he or she is very excited or happy or extremely grateful. It is a new month and my immerse desire is that God favour you this new month. Tears of joy and laughter. Transcending from greatness to greatness. Happy new month.

Over the years both men and women's outfits has evolved due to different factors and more creative imaginations but this outfit just refused to leave the picture of the new fashion trend. I love it because it is stylish and traditional. It fits perfectly into the. 21th century fashion trends. Two major tribes in Nigeria are very peculiar with this outfit, the yorubas and the hausa people although it is peculiar among them other tribes in Nigeria and outside Nigeria have also rocked this outfit. Most shocking evolving fact is that women now rock this outfit. I have never tried it  before but I feel it looks good on them. I am not
just daring enough yet...good morning

This young man appears so serious like he knows what he is doing . It is Sunday again and we celebrate mothers through their children. Nice put together

Please do not ever ever insult me that I like food too much. That is degrading. Lol, just joking!!!!!. I love good food and it is very fascinating how many kinds of delicacies you can found in Nigeria but......this one, I hold very close to my heart. It is "ukodo"!!!!!. I grew up eating this meal although it is an occasional meal in my home but it's worth every occasion for which it is prepared. Simply yam and pepper soup cooked together alongside wonderful parts of goat meat and other healthy spices. Honestly,i tried not to emphasize my love for "ukodo ". Before now and always I always that whenever you visit the south particularly Delta state try it out. It is worth every penny.
I told you on our Facebook page @southern Nigerian Beauty that a Nigerian woman possess more than a pretty face. I almost forgot, please any attempt to make this meals please make effort to get soft and delicious white yam. It will really aid the taste and look.

Here in Nigeria it is very typical for the man to get fed by the woman and in most cases on her kneel. I thank God daily that the era is quickly fading off and men now see the need to respect and love tenderly the women they marry who is also the mother of their children. I don't know what this guy is doing but it seems he is blowing the food cold with is mouth. A pampered wife is most likely going to serve you as a king. She no animal treat with love. Even our fore fathers did not treat their wives as animal very surprised how women molestation and severe abuse is very rampant..women please treat him well in return for love .

In Most marriages in Nigeria the father of the bride prays over the couple ushering them into a new beginning. There is no greater connection in earthly existence which is stronger than a mother and a child .It pleasures me each time I see a mother praying over her daughter. It is obviously giving her daughter a head start. I remember the first time my mother told me that I will make a beautiful bride everything around me turned gold and I completely  saw myself differently. Speak a word on her today it will go very far.

Good morning
I have read several books and articles that continually depicts that motherhood is another phase of a woman' s life bringing with tears, laughter, awe,the fragile nature of humanity......I can go on and on. Nothing can be compared with the bond a mother has with her child. My father  always Says you can never be too old to be called a child.
Happy sunday

Saturday, 20 February 2016

This might not really make any meaning to some people but i see a lot of sense in this. It is expected at that age we should know how to do more than the basics. Improve yourself daily. Being a better person takes conscious effort.

Busy, busy busy, with serious network issues.
Still,it pleasures me to share this. The uniqueness of Nigeria as a Nation are numerous but it's diversity stands out as time evolves. Before now parents including my own parents were very skeptical about marrying a man outside my tribe. It was a passive discouragement given regularly. But today I think the story has changed for most parents because diversity most times brings out a unique and different bond from the regular bonding we have in our tribe. I have attended marriages where two spokesmen are employed just to ensure that both families have a meeting point. Now yoruba marry EDO, Igbos marrying Deltans...it is so amazing. I just had to share this picture it says it all.  If you fall in love with a man not your tribe,go on!! It is legal and workable but please subject to parents blessings. We are Africans

SWANGE AFRICAN DANCE.
This is very popular among the Tiv people in central Northern Nigeria. It is a recreational dance done by both male and female in a circular form alongside singing and dance to sounds produced from both Tiv and Hausa tribe. The accelerated part of the dance is when a solo dancer takes the stage and improvises freely.
This dance is really wonderful and exciting I have seen a benueman dancing it and I wasn't tempted to join in. It was exciting to watch but not for practicals. I might just end up having very painful joints the next morning

Happy valentine, yesterday the proverb was self explanatory but my take on it is that don't let whether a child grows to be a better or not is dependent on everyone in the society including you and me.
No intent to bore you with proverbs on this lovely day of love. It is my immerse desire that you find love and if you already have remain in love because that hoe special you are to me.
This is my favorite picture. One thing is obtainable in us   all and that is LOVE. No much stories show love in the best possible way and make Nigeria a bit different from what we know it to be. Show some love and let's pay it forward!!!!.happy valentine' day.

Before the advent of cortex and lipsticks the hausa woman finds a way to make herself beautiful. The use of HERNA "lali" dates back to time immemorial. Evolving from the use of "lali" leaves to refined products. It is wonderful to keep touch with amazing beauty tips. I tried it on my nails and my toes it's long lasting and it's so pretty!!!!!!
